Food Friday - 90 second bread
I've seen this recipe floating around in a few different areas so I don't know where it originated but I tried it this week and was pleasantly surprised!
I've seen this recipe floating around in a few different areas so I don't know where it originated but I tried it this week and was pleasantly surprised! It's a great bread alternative and it's quick and easy as well. I didn't think to take a pic but I have the attached pic that I think someone sent me with the recipe - sorry I don't know who to give credit to. lol!
Ingredients
- 1 TBSP butter
- 3 TBSP almond flour
- 1/4 tsp baking power
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg
Directions
Melt butter in a microwave safe mug. Add the rest of the ingredients once the butter is melted and mix well. Microwave again for 90 seconds. Turn mug upside down on a plate and it will pop out ready to go! You can cut it into slices and then cook each side a little in some melted butter in a skillet if you'd like, you can create a sandwich out of it, you can add some berries and syrup and make a pancake out of it, or maybe even spread a little sugar free jelly on it and enjoy it as toast!
