Food Friday - Easy Steak Salad

Ingredients
- Spinach
- 1/2 an avocado
- Baby bella mushrooms
- Blue cheese crumbles or shredded parmesan - whichever you prefer
- Steak
- Dressing - I like Primal Kitchen Ranch
Directions
This is pretty simple in that you’ll just build the salad to taste. Cook your steak however you like it best. I like to cook mine in a skillet with butter and seasonings like onion powder, garlic powder, or maybe some steak seasoning. I like mine medium rare because it keeps it tender and has a great flavor that way.
Once your steak is cooked, get a good amount of spinach to get all those great nutrients and cover your plate with it, cut up the avocado and the mushrooms and place on top, sprinkle your cheese over the salad, place the steak on top, and then drizzle your dressing on top. Voila! You’ve got yourself a great meal with great nutrients and minimal time and effort involved. :)
Some side notes
If you have trouble figuring out healthy lunch options and you’re on the go a lot, this would be something that's super easy to meal prep for and have for lunch each day of the week. You can even change up the protein and the veggies to give it some variety. Chicken or hard boiled eggs would be great options and maybe sub out cucumbers or broccoli for the mushrooms.
